What We Believe

Teams
 
High Performance Teams significantly outperform other types of teams and groups. We believe that such teams:
  • have to be bigger than individuals but provide an environment for individuals to flourish 
  • have a shared vision that is big and inspirational 
  • have members that feel mutually accountable 
  • have members that care about each other as well as their performance 
The quality of the relationships between team members determines how effectively they talk to each other and this in turn impacts on the work they do.
 
Organisations
 
Most organisations say they subscribe to the view that their people are their greatest asset but many are running their business based on an outdated, hierarchical model that creates an ‘us and them’ mindset.  More emphasis needs to be put on engaging employees by creating an environment where people can do their best work.  The world of work is changing as technology and society changes but many organisations are struggling to let go of the structures and practices that are constraining them and their people.
